Sports Radio Network to webcast 2002 NWBL Draft

SPRINGFIELD, MASS- The National Women's Basketball League along with Mr. Stephen Fox, President of the Springfield Spirit is proud to announce that the city of Springfield Massachusetts and the Basketball Hall of Fame will host the NWBL National Draft this coming Saturday, December 22nd starting at 12 noon in the Basketball Hall of Fame's Converse theater.

Each team will draft up to eight players thru. Eight rounds with the draft order to be determined by lottery this coming Wedensday. The order will establish which team will pick in order one thru six.

League President Mr. Patrick Alexander will be the master of ceremonies along with Vice-president and Director of Player personnel Mr. Michael Walker. Scheduled to appear at the draft are WNBA stars Rebecca Lobo of the New York Liberty, Kara Wolters (Sacramento Monarchs), Shea Ralph, (Utah Starzz), Rita Williams, (Indiana Fever).
