Sports Radio Network, T & D Sports Video Productions to Webcast and Televise NYCAC Men's and Women's Championships

Sports Radio Network (http://www.sportsradionet.com), and T & D Sports Video Productions, will embark together in uncharted waters, announcing a partnership that will merge the technology of the internet with that of television.

With its exclusive coverage of the 2003 New York Collegiate Athletic Conference women's and men's basketball championship games, the internet based station and the television production company will present live audio coverage via the internet, as well as distribute the game throughout the tri-state area for a tape-delayed television presentation.

Sports Radio Network will kick off the live portion of the coverage this Saturday afternoon from the Pratt Recreation Center on the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University in Brookville, N.Y. at 12:45 with a 15-minute pre-game show , immediately followed by both the women's and men's championship games.

The games, which will be webcasted and then archived for on-demand listening, can be accessed from Sports Radio Network's official website (http://www.sportsradionet.com).

Beginning on Friday, March 14, both championships will be aired on a tape-delayed basis throughout the tri-state area, including Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, New Haven and Bridgeport, Connecticut and New York City. (Specific Times and dates will follow the press release).

"This partnership has given us the opportunity to merge two forms of media together and present it to a potentially limitless audience," said play-by-play announcer and Sports Radio Network's CEO Rob Goldenberg. "Our audience will be able to listen live to our webcast, see it on a tape-delay basis across the tri-state area on cable, and also see a streamed video feed on the internet on a tape-delay basis through the Manhattan Neighborhood Network."

The Manhattan Neighborhood Network boasts a video stream for all televised broadcasts that can be accessed off their website www.mnn.org and viewed with RealNetworks, RealPlayer.

"T & D Sports Video Productions is extremely excited about embarking on this new project with Sports Radio Network," said Thomas A. Bruno, president of T & D Sports Video Productions. "I'm confident that this will be a long and enjoyable relationship."

Sports Radio Network, a full service broadcasting outlet for amateur and professional sports, has already gained recognition as a leader in web-based sports programming.

While, T & D Sports Video Productions is a full service video production company that services high school and college athletic programs with professional video tapes.

For the past seven years, T&D's crystal clear videos have allowed coaches and athletes to analyze there own performances, providing the needed edge to excel on the court.

With Goldenberg handling play-by-play duties and Alon Avital providing color commentary, WSRN burst on to the scene with its live and exclusive coverage of the United States Basketball League's (USBL) Long Island Surf franchise in the spring of 2001.

For the last two years, WSRN has been the exclusive home to the USBL Post-Season Festival, with fans in more than 15 countries; including Canada, Israel, Australia, France, Great Britain, Switzerland and Belgium listening to the webcasts.

Sports Radio Network also continued to break new ground at the start of 2002, as the internet-based station partnered with the National Women's Basketball League (NWBL) to become the league's official broadcast carrier. With its NWBL coverage, Sports Radio Network reached a nationwide audience of fans, validating the rapidly growing appeal of women's professional sports.

Furthermore, Sports Radio Network partnered with the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference at the start of the 2002-03 basketball season, webcasting 15 regular season doubleheaders and a NYCAC quarterfinal twinbill from West Haven, Conn.

"It was a perfect marriage," said Avital, referring to the partnership between WSRN and the NYCAC. "They had an untapped product and we were fortunate to provide exciting basketball all season long."

With its new partnership, Sports Radio Network and T & D Sports Video Productions expect to be a driving force in the sports entertainment market.
