The High School Football Game of the Week Returns to WSRN

T&D Sports Video Production, in conjunction with Sports Radio Network (WSRN), have reached an agreement to add The High School Football Game of the Week this fall to both the television and web waves on Long Island, New York.

The deal will call for the two companies to produce a six-game television package, which will be aired on Cablevision of Long Island on a tape-delay basis, and will be webcasted live via the internet (audio only), accessed from Sports Radio Network's official website at http://www.sportsradionet.com.

Additionally, the two companies will produce an exclusive Saturday afternoon High School Football Game of the Week that be webcasted.

In total the package will feature 14 games, (6 televised games) and (8 webcast exclusive games).

“T & D Sports Video Productions is extremely excited about embarking on this new project with Sports Radio Network,” said Thomas A. Bruno, president of T & D Sports Video Productions. “I'm confident that this will provide high school football fans a new approach to the way the game is covered.”

The newly announced agreement between WSRN and T&D Sports Video Production is a landmark deal in the structure of producing amateur and professional sports and will build on the two companies budding relationship. The corporations have already teamed up to present the 2003 New York Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s and men’s basketball championship games, providing live audio coverage via the internet, as well as distributing the game throughout the tri-state area for a tape-delay television presentation.

“This partnership is unique because it merges the technology of the internet with that of television.
said play-by-play announcer and Sports Radio Network’s CEO Rob Goldenberg. “This partnership will provide the most comprehensive coverage possible, and will also continue to develop the importance of the internet and its emergence as a legitimate form of broadcast media.”

The season opener will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 as Sachem battles Connetquot in a Suffolk County Division I battle. Action gets underway at 1:15 p.m., with a 15-minute pre-game show, followed by game action.
