Farmingdale Games to air

T&D Sports Video Productions, in conjunction with Sports Radio Network (WSRN), have reached an agreement to with Suffolk Counties’ Section XI to add High School Football playoff action to the web waves, producing the games exclusively for the internet.

The deal will call for the production of a two game playoff package, which will air exclusively on the internet.

The coverage will kick-off with on Saturday, November 12 as West Islip battles East Islip in a Suffolk County cross-town Division II battle. Action gets underway at 12:45 p.m., with a 15-minute pre-game show, followed by game action.

An audio stream of each game will be webcasted live via the internet, and then a video stream will be aired on a tape-delayed, pay-per-view basis later that same day. All coverage can be accessed from Sports Radio Network’s (http://www.sportsradionet.com) and T & D Sports Video Productions (http://www.tdsportsvideo.com) official web-sites.

“We are excited to add the playoffs to our schedule,” said play-by-play announcer and Sports Radio Network’s CEO Rob Goldenberg. Thus far the response to our product has been tremendous. With a mixture of our live audio and same day video we will be able to provide coverage quicker than anyone else in the market.”

T & D Sports / WSRN will still be the only local media outlet to offer high school football games live, with the pay-per-view available at 8:00 PM on the day of the game.

“The reaction to this product continues to be very positive,” said Thomas A. Bruno, president of T & D Sports Video Productions. “The idea that we can show the games within such a short span of time and that the video will be available on demand is very appealing.”

Playoff action will continue the weekend of November 19, when T & D Sports / WSRN will have exclusive coverage of one of the four Suffolk County Championships.

The two companies plan to announce a High School Basketball Schedule in the upcoming weeks.
